This program connects young female athletes with experienced women in sports-former players, coaches, and community leaders who have walked similar paths. Mentors meet with girls one-on-one and in small groups, helping them navigate everything from team dynamics to time management, from handling pressure to setting real, achievable goals.
A key part of this program is our Leadership Development Workshops. In these sessions, athletes practice using their voices, leading warmups, speaking in front of peers, and making decisions under pressure. They learn how to advocate for themselves in the classroom and on the field, how to support teammates, and how to turn setbacks into lessons instead of labels.
We see shy girls step into captain roles. We see students who were struggling in school start organizing their homework and study time like practice drills. Mentors share their own stories-the injuries, the bench time, the wins, the scholarships-so each girl understands that leadership is not perfection; it is showing up, learning, and trying again.
Mentorship Development is especially powerful for girls who may not have many role models in sports at home or in their neighborhood. We make it easy for families to get involved through simple interest forms and flexible meeting options, because we know schedules are already stretched.
When you support or join this program, you are not just building better athletes. You are helping raise young women who know how to lead, speak up, and carry themselves with confidence long after the final whistle.
